Hello Ladies - happy summertime!

I must admit this is my favorite time of year; it’s sunny (most of the time), people wear colorful clothing, days are longer and life just seems to be more carefree. The Women’s Ministry will be celebrating Fun in the Sun with our summer picnic, July 29th, at the home of Sharon Knechtle (thank you Sharon!). Be sure to view the Calendar section of this newsletter for details and RSVP (along with other upcoming events).

At the same time, I am also reminded of, "our sisters in need are a blessing for us to help indeed". It’s easy to have fun in the sun, vacation and relax, but may I remind us all of the need for prayer; asking our Father in heaven for guidance during our struggles and triumphs, courage and wisdom, eyes to see and ears to hear and ability to show compassion to others. Many of our sisters are in need of prayer. Let’s share in praying for good health, home life, work and housing to the women of our church during this season of fun, sun and play.

Looking forward to seeing you at GCC Sunday services and the Summer Picnic. Please feel free to contact me directly with any comments, concerns or areas of Women’s Ministry where you can volunteer your talents.

Thank you!

Using Beth Moore’s, The Patriarch’s, we'll dig into the foundations of our faith and begin to understand how a book written 4000 years ago can still hold such relevance for our own life. You will leave this study having a deeper appreciation for the Old Testament and God’s amazing plan of redemption. Click HERE for more information or to reserve your spot with Tonya Russo.

9/17: Welcome Back Brunch @ 11:15am/East Barn Lounge

Our mission: We believe God desires a servant’s heart. The Women’s Ministry aims to continually put the interest of others before our own, living out the true meaning of service by demonstrating what it means to be “His hands and feet” to the church and communities around us.
