The goal in our Grace Kids program is to come alongside parents as they take the lead in the spiritual development of their children. It is our hope to equip, encourage and minister to families by providing resources and opportunities that help them worship and learn together. Ultimately, our prayer is to have every child come to know Christ, and develop a vibrant faith in Him.   

With a talented and dedicated group of volunteer teachers, the majority of them parents of children in our program, Sunday School is in session all year 'round!

Our program helps children better understand the word of God as well as the principals and values of what it means to be a Christian. 

Nursery care is available beginning at 9:00am. Children can be dropped off with our team of nurturing women, some who have been with Grace for over a decade. Our pre-school through 6th grade program begins at 9:30am. The curriculum for this age group comes from Group Publishing, and beginning Fall 2011 we will be working through and enjoying “Rooted”, a new curriculum that allows children to experience key Bible stories in a way that is relevant to their lives.  

On the first Sunday of each month, we have a special service called "KIDS4KIDS".  Our focus at Grace Community Church is serving others, and we want to reinforce that element in our children's program by having them understand we are called to help the less fortunate.  Matthew 25:40 says “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Whether it be making Thanksgiving placemats for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission, collecting change to purchase hats and gloves for orphans in Nepal, or a host of other initiatives, kids have the opportunity to live out Jesus’ call to serve.  

We look forward to having your children and family become part of the bigger family of Grace. While we conduct a formal registration in May of each year, we welcome your child’s participation in our classes year-round.
