children’s ministry

We have fun with the kids attending classes on Sunday morning, and are excited to offer an engaging children's program that allows them to grow spiritually, emotionally and socially, all while learning more about the Bible and Jesus Christ.

Beginning at 9:30am, we offer nursery care for babies through two years. Little ones and toddlers can settle in with our team of nurturing women, many of whom have been with Grace for over a decade. Our Preschool through 6th grade program begins at 9:30am. The curriculum for Two's through 4th grade is called "DIG IN", from Group Publishing. Each week, the kids enjoy a variety of stories and crafts, and focus on key Bible messages from the Old and New Testament.

Our 5th & 6th Grade group start their mornings at 9:30am interacting with their peers, and then they dive into their program called "GRAPPLE" that introduces them to messages from the Bible that are relevant to their lives. We seek to provide them with a solid foundation of Biblical values to see them through any and all situations.

On the first Sunday of each month, we have a special service created specifically for our 1st-6th grade group called "Kids4Kids".

A large part of the mission and focus at Grace Community Church is serving others, especially those in need. We reinforce that concept as we focus on Matthew 25:40 says “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Whether making Thanksgiving placemats for a local soup kitchen, collecting change to purchase hats and gloves for orphans in Nepal, or a host of other service centered initiatives, KIDS4KIDS gives children the opportunity to live out our call to serve.

We look forward to having your children and family become part of our family at Grace. We strive to come alongside you as you take the lead in the spiritual development of your children, and to equip and encourage you by providing resources and opportunities to help your children learn and grow.
